JEE Main 2020 B.E/B.Tech day 4 has commenced. The first shift has concluded. For third day in a row, students found the difficulty level of the paper to be moderate.

Based on the initial JEE Main 2020 Paper Analysis by students, Physics was the toughest among the three, Mathematics was moderate while Chemistry was again the easiest.

  • Students struggled a bit in the Physics section with lengthy calculations and tricky questions.
  • Although of moderate difficulty, Mathematics was scoring with questions from calculus, measurements, and 3-D geometry.
  • For Chemistry Molecular orbital theory was an important topic and many questions were from NCERT.
  • Some candidates observed that a lot of questions today in Shift 1 were similar to mock tests of NTA Abhyas App.

According to a student from an ICSE affiliated school, the Physics and Mathematics sections were ‘moderate to difficult’ as there were only a few questions from NCERT. Numerical value questions were time-consuming with lengthy-calculations.

According to Mohit, who appeared for the exam at a Delhi center said that the questions in Mathematics were very time consuming with length-calculations. The Physics questions were tough and he could not understand some of them.

Another JEE Main 2020 aspirant, Dinesh found the paper to be of moderate difficulty. He said that the questions in Chemistry were pretty much straight forward and were relatively easy to understand. The mathematics section was average while Physics the most difficult.

Mahima, another JEE Main 2020 aspirant said that the Physics section was difficult to answer and was ambiguous. She said that even the options did not seem right. She further added that Chemistry was easy and Mathematics was difficult.

Many candidates stated that the JEE Main 2020 COVID-19 Advisory and precautions were followed at the centers and gave a thumbs up. However, a student in Tamil Nadu reported technical glitches during the exam due to poor computer facility which resulted in wastage of 30 minutes. Reportedly, she was also not given extra time to complete the exam even though it was a technical fault.

JEE Main Answer Key is expected to be released within a week post the exam is concluded. With their calculated scores candidates can find their rank and college using Collegedunia’s exclusive JEE Main Rank Predictor.
