JEE Main 2020 Day 3 has concluded for the morning shift on September 3, 2020. The second shift would commence soon from 3:00 PM. Soon students will provide their reviews on the B.Tech/B.E papers. Students can prepare well based on the analysis.

For JEE Main 2020 Paper Analysis for Day 3 students have shared a mixed reaction. Most of the students, however, stated that the exam was of moderate difficulty level.  

Some of the key points shared by students after Shift 1 includes:

  • A few candidates stated that more weightage was given to the Class 11th syllabus.
  • Mathematics was observed to be toughest, however, a few students stated that the exam was easier than the January session.
  • Physics was scaled as moderate while Chemistry to be the easiest among the three sections.
  • Numerical value questions were found to be tricky.
  • Chemistry had more questions from topics such as chemical bonding and coordination compounds.

According to a student Sansar who appeared for the first shift today said that he got a lot of time to study because of the postponement of the exam. He found Mathematics to be the most difficult. For him the questions were time-consuming and required a lot of calculations.

Another student Ritu, who had also appeared for the JEE Main January session said that Chemistry was quite easy and most questions were from organic chemistry. She was able to attempt about 17 questions in the Chemistry section.

Raushan who had reached the center at the last minute found Physics to be the most difficult. He was doubtful and could attempt only 14 questions. 

For a few students in Patna, the exam was easy. A JEE aspirant Saurav Kumar who took the exam in Patliputra center said the for him questions were easy. Physics was not difficult while mathematics had numerical that required long calculations and were time-consuming. in Chemistry, there were fewer questions from organic chemistry. 

Pritam Raj of Hajipur had reached his center near Patna’s Bypass Road early. he said that though the arrangements made were satisfactory, social distancing was not followed outside the center. 

Meanwhile, NTA has also released a public notice of resuming its helpdesk services. Students are advised to follow the COVID-19 advisory and exam instructions for JEE Main 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the JEE Main 2020 exam center students are required to provide their admit cards and self-declaration (attached to the admit card).
