New Delhi: The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the seat matrix for vacant seats, as per which a total of 769 seats remain vacant even after round 1 of NEET UG counselling 2022.
The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) conducts the NEET UG counselling 2022 to offer admission seats to eligible and qualified candidates. The Government of Puducherry established it as a single admissions portal for all of the colleges in Puducherry.
According to the notice, applicants who meet the required eligibility criteria and appeared for the qualifying entrance examination; NEET UG 2022 are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella for shortlisted and eligible candidates.
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) administered by NTA will be the only factor used to determine applicants' eligibility for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BAMS degree programs for this academic year in NEET score accepting institutes and universities in India.

Tabulated below are the breakdown of the vacant seats of the seat matrix that remained after the NEET UG Counselling 2022 round as issued by the CENTAC:

As per the notice, candidates must have passed all of the subjects in the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) qualifying examination, including English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology to be eligible for the NEET UG Counselling 2022 process.

In addition to the seat matrix for NEET UG 2022, the CENTAC had released the timetable and instructions for PG Medical (MD/MS) Mop-up counselling available. The link for mop-up counselling was provided to the registered Email ID of the applicants who paid the fee amount.
The mop-up counselling for seats under the government quota and the management quota was held on November 25, 2022. Only the candidates who pre-pay the full fee amount (the fee structure is available on the website) are eligible to apply.
