New Delhi: IIT Bombay is all set to conduct UCEED 2022 and the Common Entrance Exam for Design CEED 2022 exam today, on January 23, 2022. 

Both the CEED 2022 and UCEED 2022 exams are scheduled to be held in the online (computer-based) and offline mode (pen and paper) for a duration of 180 minutes. The exams are divided into two parts. The first part will be conducted in computer-based mode. While part B is based on pen and paper mode. 

Candidates who are set to appear for UCEED and CEED 2022 paper, today, must carry their UCEED Admit Card 2022 and CEED Admit Card 2022 along with a valid photo id proof at the exam centre. 

Earlier, on January 12, the CEED and UCEED 2022 admit card was released in online mode on the official website. 

IIT Bombay has released the CEED and UCEED general and exam-specific instructions at the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in and uceed.iitb.ac.in.

Tabulated below is the exam pattern for UCEED 2022. 

CEED and UCEED 2022 aspirants are required to go through all the exam day instructions released by the authorities and adhere to them accordingly. 

CEED, UCEED 2022: Exam-day Instructions 

• Candidates should mandatorily carry their CEED admit card or UCEED admit card along with an original ID proof at the exam centre.

• Candidates should reach the centre half an hour before the exam.

• All CEED and UCEED exam 2022 labs will be under video surveillance and all activities will be closely monitored. 

• Candidates are advised to not indulge in any unfair means.

• Candidates should read all the exam day instructions beforehand and adhere to the inside and outside of the CEED and UCEED exam centre.

• Students must strictly follow all social distancing guidelines, throughout the UCEED and CEED 2022 exams. 

• Items such as a transparent bottle, mask, sanitizer, and face mask are permitted to be taken inside the exam hall. 

• Face mask removal while answering the exam is not allowed. 

The CEED 2022 answer key and UCEED 2022 answer key will be released on January 25. Candidates who appeared for the aforesaid exams can raise objections, if any, up to January 27, 2022. 

Post that, the final answer key of CEED 2022 and UCEED 2022 will be released on the official websites on January 31. The CEED 2022 results will be declared on March 8, while the UCEED 2022 results will be released on March 10, on their official websites. 

About UCEED 2022 & CEED 2022

The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2022 is held for admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at prominent IITs, including, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. 

On the other hand, the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) 2022, is a national-level entrance test for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur and Ph.D. programmes at several IITs and design schools. 

It should be noted that candidates who qualify in CEED 2022 will be granted admission to Master of Design (MDes) and Ph.D. programmes in Design.
