New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the CBSE Term 2 Practical Exam 2022 for all registered class 10th and class 12th students from today, March 02.

Students appearing for the Class 10th and Class 12th CBSE Exam 2022 for term 2 are required to carry their school ID card, admit card for the exam as well as follow the important exam instructions released by the board. 

As per the CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022 Schedule, the practical examination has started 10 days before the commencement of the CBSE term-1 theory exams. Following the datasheet, the theoretical exam is scheduled to start on April 26, 2022. 

The board has directed all CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th students to follow the strict COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines throughout the exam commencement. This step has been taken to ensure the safety of students and faculty members.

CBSE Term 2 Practical Exams 2022: Exam Guidelines

As per the exam guidelines released by the CBSE, candidates who have registered to appear for CBSE 10th, 12th Term 2 Practical Exams 2022 are requested to follow the mentioned exam guidelines: 

  • Students are strictly advised to follow COVID-19 guidelines and rules. 
  • Wearing face masks, gloves, and maintaining social distance is mandatory throughout the exam commencement. 
  • Students are permitted to bring their own hand sanitiser.
  • To prevent the spread of Covid-19, 10 students will be divided into a batch of two subgroups.
  • Carrying the CBSE Class 10, 12 Admit Card 2022 is mandatory. 
  • Entry will not be permitted without a valid CBSE Exam 2022 Admit Card
  • Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time. 
  • Any gadget, such as mobile phones, electronic devices, headphones etc is not permitted inside the exam centre.
  • Those who failed to follow the exam instructions released by the board will not be permitted to appear for the exam.

Following the notice released by CBSE, no separate practical examination will be conducted for private school students. Those students who failed the practical exam last year will have the chance to appear for the same in the 2022 examination. 

The official reads, "To avoid crowding and social distancing, the school may consider splitting the group/ batch of students into subgroups of 10 students each. The first group of 10 students may attend the lab work while the other is doing pen and paperwork and vice-versa.”
