Mumbai: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had released the Class 10 results about three months ago. Since then, students are still awaiting their migration certificates and mark sheets.

Principals of schools are worried about the fact that when admissions resume it will create a hurdle during the registration process. Meanwhile, students have already applied for admission to junior colleges.

As per records, FYJC (First Year Junior College) Admission 2020 recorded of about 6,742 applicants who cleared CBSE 2020 Class 10 exams

This year, more than 72,000 students in Maharashtra cleared CBSE Class 10 exams 2020. Previously, the board declared the results of CBSE Class 10 on July 15.

However, the process has been shelved since September 9, 2020. This is owing to the verdict pronounced by the Supreme Court that stayed the Maratha quota. As of now, new schedules suggest, admission will resume from the following week.

Speaking on this issue, the principal of a Navi Mumbai based CBSE school stated, “The Class XII certificates came about 15 days ago, but Class X students are still waiting.
