According to the official notice released on October 14, 2020, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline to submit List of Candidates (LOC) for class 10 and 12 Board exams till October 31.

CBSE has earlier mentioned the last date to submit the exam fee without late fees and to release the list of candidates (LOC) as October 15, 2020.

According to the updated schedule, the deadline is further extended to October 31, 2020, for class 10 and 12 Board Examination for 2021.

The report also stated that the dates were also extended for late fee payment and to release the list of candidates with late registration.

The dates for late registration is from November 1, 2020, to November 7, 2020. The fee payment dates are extended considering the financial difficulties during the COVID 19 Pandemic.

It is stated that the candidates should pay an additional fee of INR 300 for late registration from November 1 - 7, 2020.

With the extended dates for class 10 and 12 registration, the CBSE board has also extended the registration dates for classes 9 and 11.

According to the extended schedule, the last date for fees submission for class 9 and 11 is November 19, 2020. 

The Delhi state government has requested CBSE to extend the registration date and fees payment of board examination 2021 stating the financial difficulties due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic situation.

CBSE was also requested to waive off the entire examination fee as a one time measure for the students from Class 10 to 12 studying in the government-run and government-aided schools.

Directorate of Education (DoE) has replied that considering the request, the CBSE board has shown its inability to waive off the examination fee.
