New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education has issued the weightage breakdown for the Term 1 and Term 2 exams for Class 10th and Class 12th board exam. According to the notice, the Term 1 result will be given 30% weightage and the Term 2 result would be given 70%.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the weightage criteria for the CBSE 10th and 12th board 2022 result calculation, according to current updates. The weighting of Term 1 and Term 2 examinations will be broken down by the board. According to the notification, the Term 1 result will be given 30% weight, while the Term 2 result will be given 70%.

The board had previously proposed that Term 1 and Term 2 be given equal weight, however CBSE has decided to change the criteria if both are administered online. The choice was made in light of the board's challenges.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th Board Exam 2022: Method of Calculating Final Marks

The theoretical marks for CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th board exams are likely to be added in a 30:70 ratio, according to the circular. This refers to the theoretical grades, not the practical grades.

According to what is known, the board will most likely split theory marks 30:70 and add the internal/practical marks as is. These will be combined to produce the final findings.

The board is also expected to reduce CBSE Term 1 and Term 2 theoretical paper grades, as is customary. By measuring the difficulty level of distinct sets and leveling the scores, the board tempered the marks earned by pupils.

The Term I examinations were conducted as per schedule, but due to the conditions existing at the time, keeping in mind the problem faced by students and affiliated schools, CBSE has decided to reduce the weightage of the Term1 examination. 

The final outcome would have a 30:70 split between the two terms, according to the document. In addition, the CBSE board has stated that schools' internal marks will stay unchanged. The announcement is likely to be posted on the board's official website soon.
