CBSE Practical Exam 2021 for Classes 10 and 12 will be reconducted for students tested positive for COVID-19. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification on April 1, 2021, regarding the conduct of ongoing practical exams. 

CBSE Class 10 and 12 students who are not able to appear for practical exams because of COVID-19 will get a chance to attend the re-conducted examinations before June 11, 2021.

The board has released a circular for principals and heads of all city schools and institutes. The circular states, students who are tested positive or if any of their family members are tested positive then CBSE Practical Exam 2021 can be rescheduled before June 11, 2021.

CBSE Practical Exam 2021: Circular for COVID Positive Students

CBSE has asked all its associated schools and institutes to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocols and other guidelines. The circular has been issued to ward off the students’ and parents’ claim to postpone practical examinations in view of increasing COVID cases in the country.

Further, students can apply for the changing exam centres or dates of the practical exam. In such cases, while uploading marks of the batch of students against the name of absentees, a “C” letter may be posted on the link for uploading of marks.

Students who have shifted to some other city/country because of Covid can request CBSE to change the practical centre. While uploading the marks of the batch of the student, against the name of such student's “T” letter may be uploaded on the link for uploading of marks.

Students will have to place their requests and consult with the regional office for rescheduling practical exams. Earlier, CBSE released a circular for the same and asked the students not to worry as the exams can be conducted after the completion of written exams. Lastly, if marks of any student are not available with CBSE, then the result will be computed without marks and status will be reported as per Examination By-Laws.

Meanwhile, CBSE has also revised its theory examinations for class 10 and 12 in May-June. As per the revised CBSE Class 10 exam dates, exams are going to take place from May 4 to June 7. On the other hand, as per CBSE Class 12 exam dates, students have to appear from May 4 to June 14, 2021, for theory papers.
