Candidates appearing for CAT 2020 can attempt the mock test available on the official website that has been released by IIM Indore. The mock test released is for regular as well as candidates with low vision. 

IIM Indore has brought about certain changes in the pattern of CAT 2020. It will be conducted on November 29, in three shifts. 

Candidates can access CAT Mock Test 2020 anytime anywhere as it has been released online. Candidates do not need to pay any additional fees for attempting the official website.

CAT 2020: How to access the Mock Test? 

  • Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in
  • On the homepage, from the ‘quick tour’ section, click on the link which says ‘CAT Mock Test 2020 link’
  • A pdf will open on another window with some important instructions and the link for the Mock test 
  • Candidate must put in the proper credentials and login 
  • The mock test will appear which will be exactly similar to the main test 
  • Candidate can take the test and check the score for practice

CAT 2020: Why take the Mock Test? 

The motive behind issuing a mock test is to help students be armed with strategies for preparation as well as writing the examination. 

The pattern of the examination also becomes familiar to the student through mock tests which becomes beneficial for the final examination. 

The candidate also gets familiar with the navigation process, exam environment, and other related aspects. Thus, on the main day, the candidate need not waste time on other associated elements and will be able to focus on the examination.

CAT Mock exam 2020: Major Features

In order to make it as similar as possible to the main exam, IIM Indore has added various facilities such as an on-screen calculator and on-screen timer for the candidates.

This will save time for the candidates as they will not have to switch between devices fr calculations and keeping a track of time. 

A special mock test has been designed for the PwD candidates. They will be provided an additional 20 minutes for examination.
