New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the CAT Committee has decided not to consider two questions from the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) section for the score calculation of candidates as these questions are found to be ambiguous.
Following this decision, the scores of candidates who appeared for CAT 2022 on November 27, 2022 shift 2 and shift 3 will now be adjusted on a prorated basis based on their responses to the balance questions in the DILR section.
Informing about the changes, the CAT official website reads, "The CAT Committee has decided that two questions from the DILR section (from 27th Nov 2022 shift 2 and from 27th Nov 2022 shift 3) will not be considered for evaluation as these questions found to be ambiguous".
Earlier, CAT 2022 examination was held on November 27, 2022 in various exam centers across the country. The exam was held for 2,55,501 candidates out of which 2,22,218 appeared for the test. Out of the total applicants, 35% were females, 65% were males, and 4 were transgenders.
Following the CAT 2022 Schedule, the CAT 2022 answer key and response sheet key for all registered candidates to check and download on December 01, 2022. The result for the same will be published on January 03, 2023, on the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
Once the result is declared, applicants will be able to check their result status by logging onto their candidate's profile through the official CAT website. Candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official website for the latest exam-related updates.
