New Delhi: IIM Bangalore has released the CAT 2022 notification for session 2022. As per the notice released, the CAT 2022 Registration process will start for all interested and eligible candidates from August 03, 2022 (10:00 am) in online mode at iimcat.ac.in. 

As per IIM Bangalore, the conducting body of CAT 2022, interested candidates will be able to submit their registrations for the Common Admission Test from August 3 to September 14, 2022, till 5:00 pm. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted for registration. 

Following the CAT 2022 Schedule, the admit card will be available from October 27, 2022. Once released, registered candidates can check their exam date, exam center details, important exam day guidelines, and other details by downloading the CAT 2022 Admit Card.

Indian Institutes of Management will conduct the CAT 2022 in computer-based mode. The exam will be held in three sessions on November 27, 2022. Candidates applying for the admission test are advised to read the detailed advertisement released on the official website.

CAT 2022: Eligibility, Selection Process

To register for the Common Admission Test, candidates are required to meet the CAT 2022 Eligibility criteria as mentioned below: 

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university or educational institute to register for CAT 2022.
• Students who are pursuing the final year of their Bachelor’s degree can also register for the admission test. 
• General candidates are required to have at least 50% marks in their graduation degree.
• For SC, ST, and PwD category candidates, a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is required to register for the exam. 
• In addition to this, CA/CS/ICWA/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) who have secured 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates) are also eligible to apply.

CAT 2022: How to Register Online?

Step 1: Visit the official website of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 at iimcat.ac.in. 

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the "CAT 2022 Registration" link available. 

Step 3: Register yourself by entering your name, email address, and other details as required. 

Step 4: Fill out the CAT 2022 application form and upload a copy of important documents as mentioned. 

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form to complete your CAT 2022 application process. 

As per the official notice, " Candidates are advised to submit their registration form with care to avoid any errors in the application. No change in the category will be entertained after CAT 2022 registration . Therefore applicants are advised to pay attention while registering" .

Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 is a national-level entrance test conducted for admission to MBA/ PGDM courses. Based on CAT scores, candidates are offered admission seats in 20 IIMs and 1000+ other CAT scores accepting B-schools .
