New Delhi: Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 is being held today i.e. on November 27, 2022, in various exam centers across the country. The exam will be held in three slots; Slot 1 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, slot 2 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and slot 3 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Candidates who are preparing to appear for CAT 2022 are required to reach their designated examination center at least an hour before the reporting time. IIM Bangalore, the conducting authority has already conducted the slot 2 exam and slot 2 will commence at 12:30 pm.
To appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT), candidates have to carry their CAT 2022 admit card to their allotted exam center for the identity verification process. They will not be permitted to enter the exam hall without a copy of their admit card.
In addition to this, applicants are required to carry a recent passport-size photograph along with their admit cards. The photograph should be the same as uploaded at the time of submitting the CAT 2022 registrations. Candidates can check the exam day guideline on their admit card to avoid any last-minute hassle.

CAT 2022 Exam Day Checklist
Candidates have to carry their CAT admit card and one of the original and valid photo identification proof such as PAN card, driving license, voter id or passport, aadhaar card with photograph), e-aadhaar, ration card or identification affidavit to their allotted exam center.

CAT 2022 Slot 2 Starts At 12:30 pm
IIM Bangalore will now conduct the slot 2 exams at 12:30 for all registered candidates. The test will be held from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and candidates are required to reach their allotted exam centers by 11:00 pm.
As per the dress code, candidates can not wear any jewellery or any item(s) containing metal, shoes/footwear with thick soles, and garments with large buttons inside the test centre.

CAT 2022 Slot 1 Exam Analysis
As per students who appeared for CAT 2022 Slot 1 Exam, the question paper included hard Quantitative Aptitude questions. Most of the questions focused on logical reasoning and students found the diagram questions hard.
Following the CAT 2022 Marking Scheme, students will be awarded with three marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates must note that there will be no negative markings for non-MCQ questions.

CAT 2022 Slot 1 Concluded
The Slot 1 CAT 2022 ended at 10:30 am today (November 27, 2022). Students who appeared for the exam were provided with one pen and scribble paper for rough work. No candidates were allowed to carry a calculator or digital watch inside the exam hall.
