CAT 2021 Slot 1 exam has been concluded successfully today i.e November 28, 2021 in the morning shift from 8: 30 am to 10: 30 am. The overall difficulty level of CAT 2021 slot 1 paper was moderate to difficult. The major change has been introduced in CAT 2021 Question Paper that is the total number of questions has been reduced to 66 from 76. Based on the initial reaction of test takers, the most time consuming section of CAT 2021 was Quantitative Aptitude and DILR. The other section was of medium difficulty. CAT 2021 Answer keys are expected in the 1st week of December, however, the memory based answer keys will be out soon.

CAT 2021 Result is expected to be out on January 5, 2022 based on which candidates will be called for the admission process of top management colleges. CAT 2021 Slot 1 Exam Analysis

CAT 2021 is a national-level examination. It is conducted for admissions to various MBA courses in the reputed institutes of India. The authorities have changed the exam pattern for this session. Earlier CAT was conducted for 3 hours. However, now it has been reduced to 2 hours.

CAT 2021 Slot 1 Exam Analysis: Section Wise Difficulty & Good Attempts 

All the three sections in CAT 2021 had different difficulty levels. The table below contains the difficulty level, number of questions, and good attempts to provide a clear analysis of CAT 2021 Question Paper. 

CAT 2021 Slot 1 VARC Section Analysis 

The VARC section of CAT 2021 Slot 1 ranges from moderate to difficult level. This year there were 24 questions in the VARC section

CAT 2021 Slot 1 DILR Section Analysis 

• There were a total of 20 questions in DILR section compiled within 4 sets.
• Two sets consist of 4 questions each while the other two sets contain 6 questions each.
• The DILR section in CAT 2021 is reported to be lengthy. 

CAT 2021 Slot 1 Quant Section Analysis 

• The Quant section of CAT 2021 Slot 1 consist of 22 questions. 
• This section is reported to be the easiest section of CAT 2021 Question Paper 
• The difficulty level is same as the last year. However, this year it seems a bit lengthy. 
• Algebra and Arithmetic were the topics that carried the major weightage of this section.
