Due to the prevailing Pandemic Situation the Governor of CAT 2020, Professor Harshlal Lowalekar has now declared that exam will be conducted at more than 425 centers across India.
Indian Institute Of Management - [IIM], Indore has increased the total number of test centers so that Candidates can appear for the test without worrying about the consequences of COVID-19.
The purpose of increasing the CAT 2020 Exam Centers is to ensure the safety of both students and staff by maintaining social distancing and prevent transmission.
Objective of Increasing Exam Centers for CAT 2020
The Committee has taken the initiative to allot the preferred Exam centers according to the candidates’ choice.
Moreover, the candidates were given 6 choices instead of 4 at the time of registration. The Exam Committee has made sure that the Exam centers allotted as per their First Preferences.
IIM Indore is set to supervisors the Exam Centers to counter the Covid-19 Situation. Professor Lowalekar also insisted on following the Covid-19 guidelines to be followed at the time of Examination.

Candidates and Invigilators are to use Face Mask all the time and maintain social distancing inside premises of Exam Centers. Examiners and the Candidates will be screened with a Thermo Gun before Entering the Exam Centers.
Adequate Supply of Sanitizers and Extra masks will be provided by the Centers. Everyone is to maintain the 6 Feet distance at all times.
