Indian Institute of Management, Indore has released the answer key of CAT 2020 today, i.e December 8, 2020. The applicants who had appeared for the CAT 2020 exam can check the answer key and their response sheet by visiting the official website - iimcat.ac.in.

Along with the CAT 2020 answer key, the exam authorities have also issued the question paper and response sheet of candidates.

Following the release of CAT 2020 answer key, the conducting body (IIM Indore) has also given the option to the candidates to challenge the CAT 2020 answer key by (Date) by paying a sum Rs 1200 per objection. The amount will be refunded only if the objection is considered valid.

The objection management tab for CAT 2020 will be active from December 8 (10:00 AM) till December 11 (5:00 PM). Candidates will be able to see the answer key as well as individual responses to the questions during this period.

Steps to Download CAT 2020 Answer Key

Step 1 - Candidates will have to click on the official link - iimcat.ac.in 

Step 2 - Enter the CAT 2020 login id and password 

Step 3 - Choose the shift (Forenoon, Afternoon, Evening) for which you appeared in the exam

Step 4 - CAT 2020 answer key will be displayed on the screen 

Step 5 - The correct option for every question will be marked with green colour, while the incorrect one will be marked with red. 

Step 6 - Download the answer key for future reference

Separate Answer Keys for Slot 1, Slot 2, Slot 3

CAT 2020 was conducted in three different slots i.e. morning session starting from 8:30 am to 11: 30 am, afternoon session from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and the evening session from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

IIM Indore has released the separate answer keys for the three slots of CAT 2020 exam. It is to be noted by candidates that the answer keys will only be available to candidates who have appeared for the exam.

How to use CAT 2020 Official Answer Key?

CAT 2020 official answer key is of great significance as it can be used to calculate the raw score for the CAT 2020 with the help of the candidate’s response key. Further, through the answer key and candidate response sheet, aspirants can verify the answers provided by them in the exam and predict their raw percentile. 

This raw score will be essential to give the candidate a fair idea of their chances of getting a call from premier B-schools such as IIMs, FMS, MDI, SPIJMR and others.
