1. Read Each Question Carefully, Don't Rush
For each section in CAT 2020 candidates are allotted 40 minutes, comprising 22-24 questions. Candidates generally read the questions in hurry and mark the incorrect response. To avoid such mistakes, you are advised to be patient and understand the meaning of each question so as to attempt maximum correct answers.

2. Spend Less Time On One Question
This might sound contrary to the above-mentioned point. But it is important to balance out both point one and two so as to attempt maximum questions and score well in CAT 2020. While attempting the question be patient but at the same time if you are able to gauge whether you would be able to attempt the question or not. If not, then skip and move to the next and attempt all the questions you are confident about.
3. Read and Follow the Exam Instructions given on Screen
While appearing for CAT 2020, candidates will get a set of instructions on their system. Don't ignore the guidelines as they are important for answering the questions in a strategic manner. If any new changes are introduced, candidates should be aware of that too through the guidelines.

4. Follow Safety Measure Amid COVID-19
This is an unusual time for students to appear for centre based exams. With the rising COVID-19 cases health is the utmost priority. To ensure safe conduct of CAT 2020, IIM Indore has released certain guidelines to be followed strictly in all the examination centres. But one's safety is at its own hands, so students are advised to wear the face mask and maintain social distancing.
