IIM Indore, the conducting body of CAT 2020, has recently issued an official notification that states, Objection Management Tab will be activated at 10 AM on December 8, 2020. Following this, candidates should log in to check individual responses and CAT 2020 answer keys.
Candidates who have appeared for the CAT 2020 exam conducted on November 29, 2020, can visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in to check the Answer Key. Earlier, according to an update from Prof Harshal Lowalekar, CAT Convener, the Answer Key was expected to be announced next week.
The CAT Answer Key is usually released within a week from the exam date. “We have not yet announced any specific date for the objection management system going live but by next week hopefully we will announce it on the CAT website” stated Prof Harshal Lowalekar.
As of now, after checking the answer keys, if candidates observe discrepancies in the CAT 2020 Answer Keys they can raise an objection within December 11 (till 5 PM).

Follow the steps mentioned below to download the CAT 2020 answer keys:
- Visit the official website of IIM CAT: iimcat.ac.in
- Click the registered candidate’s tab.
- Enter CAT ID and password and click on submit button
- Select shift of appearing in the exam
- Click the tab to download CAT 2020 candidate response
- CAT 2020 answer key will be displayed on the screen

This year, CAT 2020 was conducted by IIM Indore in three slots. The institute will be releasing the individual Answer Key as well as the exam question paper. This will enable candidates to evaluate how they did in the exam. They will help them get aware of whether they answered the questions correctly or incorrectly as well as the quality of their answer.
The candidates will also be able to challenge the CAT 2020 Anwer Key within a given window in case of any discrepancy found in the Answer Key.
About CAT 2020
Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) conduct the CAT Exam every year in the months of November and December for admission to management programs. The exam is usually organized in rotating shifts and has a duration of three hours. However this year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the exam was held in only three shifts of two hours each.
In order to complete the exam within the two-hour duration, the number of questions was reduced to 76 as opposed to the usual 100.
