Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Civic Body have agreed on conducting the board exams offline. According to the report, the state, national, and international board examinations are likely to be held from January 18.

BMC's earlier jurisdiction had declared that the schools will remain closed until 15 January. Though, the announcement regarding reopening schools from January 16-18 is still under the procedure and not confirmed yet.

The members of the International Schools Association ( Cambridge Board ) are permitted to conduct the preliminary or pre-planned exams of classes 9 to 12. Cambridge board schools' classes 9- 12 exams are assumed to proceed from January 23. According to the schedule, classes 10 and 12 exams will be conducted soon.

The civic body has regulated a chart of safety and security measures to be followed strictly by the State and Central Government Security. The Health & Education Ministry has issued the guidelines, as well as the state Boards, have also circulated guidelines considering the exams.
