New Delhi: The Bar Council of India (BCI) is all set to release the results for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE XVII) after February 20, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the AIBE XVII exam 2023 can visit the official website @allindiabarexamination.com, to download their results. 

Earlier, this week, the BCI released the AIBE 17 answer key 2023 on February 5, immediately after the completion of the exam on its official website @barcouncilofindia.org and allindiabarexamination.com.

The AIBE 17 answer key has been released for English set A, set B, set C and set D for the exam that was successfully conducted on February 5.

Further, the council informed that the AIBE 17 results will also be declared for candidates who missed the biometric attendance but completed their verification in the exam hall.

As per the BCI website, Candidates are requested to check their AIBE XVII result after February 20, 2023 5 pm. 

AIBE XVII Results: How to Check?

Candidates who appeared in the AIBE 17 bar exam can go through the following steps to check their scores. 

Step 1: Visit the BCI official official website, allindiabarexamination.com.

Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the AIBE 17 result download link. 

Step 3: Login using the registration credentials.

Press the “Submit” button.

Step 4: AIBE 17 result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the scorecard for future reference.

Candidates who qualify the AIBE 17 exam 2023 will be awarded the Certificate of Practice (COP) by the Bar Council of India. 

The certification is mandatory to practice in a court of law in India. The COP is issued within three months after the declaration of AIBE results. Candidates who have qualified AIBE exam will be able to collect it from the respective State Bar Council or download it from the AIBESCOPE application. 

AIBE XVII Qualifying Criteria 

According to the BCI, the candidate needs to secure a minimum score. Candidates belonging to general category will have to secure a minimum AIBE exam passing marks of 40%, while SC and ST candidates should score 35%. Check the table below to know the qualifying criteria.
