Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar School of Economics has extended the last date to submit the BASE 2020 application form. The exam is conducted for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc Economics course. Students who have not applied to this examination so far can now apply and submit the BASE application form till October 20, 2020.
Earlier, the last date to submit the BASE application form 2020 was June 30. However, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the application deadline has been extended to October 20, 2020.

BASE Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates who wish to apply to this program have to fulfil the eligibility criteria laid down by the admission authority. The minimum eligibility criteria that students need to fulfill to apply to this exam is given below:
- Passed Class 12 in any stream with Mathematics and English with an aggregate of at least 65% marks from a recognized board.
- A relaxation of 5% marks is given to candidates belonging to SC/ ST Category.
- 60% of the Total Seats for this course are reserved for students of Karnataka, the remaining 40% are for candidates from all states in India.
BASE Selection Criteria
Admission to the Integrated MSc course will be done based on merit in the Class 12 examination. In order to fill the application form of BASE, candidates are required to visit the official website of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics and get themselves registered.
On successful registration, candidates have to login using their registered email id and password. The step by step procedure to fill the application form is provided below:
- Enter personal details such as name, mobile number, Aadhaar Number, guardian’s details, communication address etc.
- Enter academic details such as qualifying examination, exam centre choice, mode of examination etc.
- Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the requisite amount of application fee either online using Credit/ Debit Card, Net banking or offline using e-challan.
Additionally, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics also provides an option to existing students to pursue Integrated MSc Economics course after a 3-year undergraduate course.
However, this option is only for those candidates who have appeared in the CUCET 2020 and have opted for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics as their preference in the CUCET application form.
