AYUSH NEET 2020: AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has commenced the AYUSH NEET 2020 counselling round 2 today, December 22, 2020.  The registration process will start today itself.

According to the notification released by AACCC, candidates will be able to register themselves for AYUSH NEET 2020 Counselling round 2 till December 26, 2020, 5:00 pm.

AYUSH NEET 2020 Counselling Round 2: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates seeking admission through AYUSH NEET 2020 must satisfy the following criteria set by AACCC - 

  • Candidates must have qualified for the NEET 2020 exam.
  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 21, 2020.
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2/ similar level of examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology/ Biotechnology as core subjects.

AYUSH NEET 2020: Counselling Process

The counselling process for AYUSH NEET 2020 Round 2 will be held if there are seats vacant after the first round of counselling. The process for AYUSH NEET 2020 Counselling Round 2 is mentioned below - 

  • REGISTRATION: Candidates can complete the registration by filling in their credentials in the application form, along with their NEET 2020 score and rank.
  • CHOICE FILLING: Candidates will have to then fill their choices in order of preference. They have to fill in the college name and course option in which they are interested. The candidates must check the curriculum of the course and fee structure of the college they wish to apply for. 
  • SEAT ALLOTMENT AND SEAT BOOKING: Seats will be allotted to the candidates by AACCC on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates and their NEET 2020 ranks. The candidates who are allotted a seat will have to confirm if they want to continue with that seat or not. For the ones who are not allotted a seat, the process will end for them.

The candidates who will accept the allotted seat will have to report to the allotted institute and complete the admission formalities.

AYUSH NEET 2020: Vacant Seats after Second Round

The Government/ Government-aided seats left vacant after AYUSH NEET 2020 Counselling Round 2 will be transferred to the respective states and those seats will become a part of the respective state counselling.

The National/ Deemed/ Private seats will be filled conducting a mop-up round. The registrations will start afresh for this round and in case the seats are left vacant in the mop-up round, they will be transferred to the respective institute for a stay round of counselling.
