New Delhi: Assam Women’s University Admission 2022 application process has started for UG and PG courses for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online till August 15, 2022 through the official website awu.ac.in

Assam Women’s University is inviting applications for B.P.T, B.A. in Psychology, MBA, MTTM, Mass Communication and Journalism, Cultural Studies, Economics, Education, English, MCA, Fashion Technology, Assamese, Sociology, Library and Information Science, Political Science and PGDCA Courses. Candidates seeking admission to these courses need to apply by July 30, 2022.

Assam Women’s University Admission 2022: Dates 

The duration of the B.P.T course is 4 years. The duration of the B.A. Psychology is 3 years. Whereas the duration of the PG Courses is 2 years. Candidates need to sit for the entrance examination in all the courses except B.A. in Psychology. For B.P.T candidates have to pay a 300 INR for the entrance examination.

Eligibility Criteria for UG

• Candidates must have qualified 10+2 in respective streams with a minimum aggregate of 55% from a recognised board. 
• Female candidates of at least 17 years of age are eligible for admission. 
• For B.P.T candidates must hold a valid score in the entrance examination. 

Eligibility Criteria for PG 

• Candidates must have a qualified Bachelor’s degree in their respective fields from a recognised university. 
• Female candidates are eligible to apply.
• Candidates must hold a valid score in the entrance examination. 

Assam Women’s University Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination. 
• Students applying for BA in Psychology shall be shortlisted on the basis of merit. 
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the counselling rounds.
