Directorate of Medical Education and Government of Assam has announced that counselling process for NEET 2020 shall begin from November 5, 2020.

Assam NEET 2020 was conducted on October 16, 2020, for all the MBBS/BDS candidates for admission in top medical and dental colleges in Assam. The counselling will have two rounds for sorting through the applicants in offline mode.

To register for the counselling program, the candidates need to submit their forms and pay the fees by November 6, 2020.

Assam NEET Counselling 2020 program is organised by the Directorate of Medical Education for the quota candidates wishing to pursue higher education in Medical stream.

Assam NEET 2020 Counselling: How to Register?

Step 1 - Visit the official website dme.assam.gov.in

Step 2 - Click on the registration online counselling 2020 session for MBBS BDS Courses

Step 3 - Click on new registration with your email address

Step 4 - Once your account is registered in the portal, enter your Assam NEET 2020 application number

Step 5 - Fill in the form and upload the necessary documents

Step 6 - Choose the preferred colleges and pay the application fee online

Step 7 - Once the payment is verified, the portal will accept the application

Step 8 - Download the document and take a print out of it.

Assam NEET 2020 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

Assam NEET 2020 Counselling will only be conducted for the below candidates:

  1. Applicant should be a registered citizen of Assam.
  2. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 10+2 standard.
  3. Applicants must have passed 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks and for the candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC the minimum required marks are 50%.
  4. The candidate must have appeared and qualified NEET 2020
  5. Candidates must not be above 24 years or below 17 years of age on December 31, 2020.
