Assam MBBS 2020 admission important dates have been released by the Directorate of Medical Education Assam. The registration date for MBBS Counselling has been extended to November 11, 2020.

The Assam MBBS application for counseling 2020 is open on the official website. Candidates seeking admission for the course in different Assam medical colleges can visit the official website and can register for the same.

The officials have extended the registration date till November 11, 2020, and released the Assam MBBS merit list on its official website. 

The Merit list is based on the marks obtained in the NEET 2020. Candidates who have secured sufficient marks can apply for the Assam MBBS Counseling Process 2020. 

Candidates can apply for the Assam NEET Counselling 2020 from November 5 to November 11, 2020. 

Candidates should fill their choices for college preference in the application form. Shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats by the state counseling committee based on the merit list.

Assam MBBS Admission 2020: Counselling Process

Candidates who want to join the MBBS course in the state should appear for the NEET exam.

After securing the required cutoff marks candidates should follow the below process to apply for Assam NEET Counselling 2020

Step 1 - Candidate should apply online for Counseling 

Step 2 - After releasing the merit list by the DME. candidates should search for their name on the merit list 

Step 3 - Appear for the counseling round and Document verification

Step 4 - DME will release the Seat allotment result

Step 5 - After allotment of the seat candidate should follow the Final Admission process

Assam MBBS Counseling 2020: Seat Criteria 

DME takes admission through the NEET-UG merit list. 85% of the seats will be filled for state quota whereas the rest 15% filled by All India Quota.
