New Delhi: In an on-campus hiring campaign, top IT firms including Cognizant, LTI Spark, and KiwiTech hired a total of 48 Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students majoring in computer application and engineering. The Department of Computer Science's Training and Placement Office and the General Training and Placement Office organised the recruitment drive.
According to Professor Aasim Zafar, head of the department of computer science,AMU, "the hired students have been picked to work in various jobs in major international firms after rigorous online aptitude tests and technical interviews."
The General Training and Placement Officer, Saad Hameed, congratulated the hired students and advised them to put up their best efforts and promote AMU as brand ambassadors.
80 AMU students were recently placed in the SAIRAAB recruitment fair. Stepping Cloud, Marque Impex, TeleCRM, Suo Jobs, Believe Pte. Ltd., UHM Vacations, Mindtel Global Pvt Ltd., Bansal Classes, Antal, Feedpro, and more businesses took part in the AMU job expo.
The purpose of the event was to place recently graduated and final year undergrad and postgrad students from various disciplines. The recruiting event attracted more than 20 companies and over 1,000 students.
