Amity University has officially partnered with Common Services Centers, Special Purpose Vehicle (CSC SPV) to offer high education courses to rural students.
The Amity University Online partnership with CSC has been set up by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, to offer various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in both Hindi and English to lakhs of rural students in India under the Digital India initiative.
The online UG and PG programmes such as BA, BCom, BCA, BBA and MCA offered at the Amity University will be made available to the rural students through over 6000 CSC Academy Centers in the first phase. Also, BA and BCom courses will be made available in Hindi for the students in rural India.

Once the rural student enrolls for any UG or PG programme offered at the CSC Academy Center, they will be able to attend the online classes of Amity University. Further, the varsity has notified that special courses for students will be created, which will be offered via the CSC academy.
Ajit Chauhan, the chairman of Amity University Online, said that the university has always dreamed of providing world class quality education to all its learners. The university’s endeavour is to bring grassroot level change and enable professionals in remote areas of India. Also, he added that with the partnership under the digital initiative, rural and remote India will be greatly benefitted.

Dinesh Tyagi, the managing director of CSC SPV, elaborated on the partnership, stating that it was an endeavour for CSC to provide quality education to the students and youth in rural areas, specifically to the women, who miss out on higher education, owing to the societal inequality and patriarchy.
Further, the association with Amity Online is a significant step taken in this direction which meets the prime minister’s vision of digital India fulfilling the educational needs of rural India. Also, with the partnership with Amity, it will be very advantageous to reach out to rural youth with future skills like AI, machine learning and blockchain, Tyagi concluded.
