The College of Engineering and Technology, Akola or COETA is among the prime institutions in the fields of engineering and Architecture in Western Vidarbha. 

Established in 1983, COETA has created one of the most strong foundations in its respective disciplines. The institute offers candidates with options of specializations across its UG and PG courses. 

Every department at COETA has been recognized at research centres by SGBA University. The institute provides students with top notch educational quality through its world class infrastructure including a full WiFi campus, fully equipped laboratories, hi tech classrooms as well as facilities for recreational purposes.

The institute has also been a hub for R&D since its establishment, conducting seminars, talks, events, conferences all throughout the year for the academic development of students as well as the staff.

Keeping in mind the ongoing COVID-19 pandemica and its impact on the less fortunate, the faculty and staff of the institute have also donated two days worth of their salary to the CM welfare fund.
