New Delhi: Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has concluded its final placements 2022 for its B.Tech programme, where a total of 14 girl students got placed at multinational software companies (MNCs), each receiving a salary of INR 15 lakhs annually.
AKTU witnessed 100% success rate during the campus placement 2022, where a multi-round selection process was conducted for the 14 girl students over the course of two days.
More than 500 Female Students took part in the AKTU Placements 2022
Over 500 female students from throughout the state took part in the unique campus placement drive 2022, specially organized for the B.Tech girl students of AKTU.
Vice Chancellor Professor Pradeep Kumar Mishra expressed his delight and best wishes to these female students on their selection and said that this was just the beginning of the university's continued organisation of placement events.
He also declared that providing employment opportunities to the female students would be a top focus of the university.
AKTU Placements 2022 Specially Arranged for Female Students
The Department of Training and Placement of the university invited a software multinational company that conducted a two-day placement drive for associate software engineer positions.
The selection process began with an online coding test and almost a total of 512 female students appeared for the online coding test on the very first day, out of which 50 female students were shortlisted for the next round.
Out of these, 26 of them were chosen, who made it through the first two stages of the AKTU special placement drive. These female students had to pass the technical and HR round of testing on the following day.
In the end, 14 female students were chosen by the company for an annual package of INR 15 lakhs each. Now, the selected students would be able to work at the Bangalore and Hyderabad offices of these multinational companies.
