New Delhi: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has issued a notice regarding postponement of supplementary carryover exams for the odd and even semesters of the 2021-22 academic year.
As per AKTU, supplementary carryover exams for the odd and even semester which was previously planned for October 15, 2022 will now be administered on October 20, 2022.
Due to a scheduling conflict with the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) PET 2022 exam, which will be held on October 15 and 16, 2022. the examinations have been rescheduled.
Students who pass the UPSSSC PET 2022 will be qualified to apply for Group C positions. Balika Vidya Niketan Inter College, Bala Kadar Road, Kesarbagh, Lucknow, is the new location for the PEC examination in Lucknow.
Those who were supposed to appear at the above location must now report to 'KM, Public Inter College Block-B, Sector 9, Vrindavan Yojna, Awas Vikas Colony, Lucknow'.
AKTU Will Establish Three Centres Of Excellence
The Board of the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU) has resolved to create three international centres of excellence to conduct breakthrough science and technology studies and research.
On the grounds of the Government Engineering College (GEC) in Kannur, a centre for excellence in environmental sustainability and carbon neutrality will be established. The university's budget includes 30 crore INR for establishing centres of excellence.
At the Model Engineering College (MEC) in Thrikkakara, a centre for excellence in artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and automation will be established. In Kottayam, the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT) will establish a centre for developing materials and allied subjects.
