AISECT University launched a campaign on Self-reliant India on October 2 to spread awareness and educate youth about various schemes and self-reliant missions.
Rabindranath Tagore University’s Chancellor Santosh Choubey kickstarted the campaign. He highlighted various objectives and the plan of action in the launch ceremony.
The ceremony witnessed University officials including Arun Bhatt, Retired Commissioner, Industries Department, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director of AISECT, Brahprakash Pethia, Vice-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University Registrar Vijay Singh, Coordinator AIC-RNTU Nitin Vats among many others.
All the Universities that come under the AISECT group will get involved in this campaign. The main target of this campaign is the youth generation. The campaign aims at spreading awareness among the citizens of particular districts about the various beneficial schemes run by the State and Central Government.
The initiative directs to the business aspect and on the launch, the attendees released a booklet Samarth and Entrepreneurship Handbook that consists of how the campaign will proceed and benefit the people.To proceed with the mission, a self-sufficient Bharat cell has been formed by the AISECT Group and Atal Incubation Center (AIC-RNTU). Under AIC-RNTU, the iSect group and its five universities will execute the self-reliant campaign.
Chancellor of the AISECT stated that the University is targeting to reform the curriculum in compliance with NEP and various schemes of the government. They are also planning to achieve the transformation by encouraging research culture, interaction with farmers, Medium and Small Scale enterprises, etc.
