New Delhi: The National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) has released the counselling dates for the all-India law eligibility test (AILET 2023). The AILET 2023 counselling is scheduled to begin from today December 20, 2022. 


 

The NLU Delhi will conduct the AILET 2023 counselling process through the online mode and candidates will have to complete the registration on or before 26th December 2022. Only those who have successfully found their names featured on the merit list will be eligible to apply for the counselling process. 

AILET 2023 Counselling process involves registration, paying the registration fees, authorities releasing the list of the provisional selected candidates, and lastly deposit of admission confirmation fees.

AILET Counselling 2023: Important instruction

Following are the important instructions of the AILET 2023 counselling process:

  • The list of eligible candidates will be released by the NLU Delhi authorities on December 20, 2022
  • The registration process will be conducted between December 20 - 26, 2022
  • Candidates must fill out and submit the counselling application online through their login 
  • In order to complete the registration candidate will have to pay the registration fees of INR 30000 for (general, Kashmiri migrants, Jammu and Kashmir category)
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD need to pay the registration fees of INR 20,000
  • Once the registration is completed, the NLU authorities will be releasing the first provisional list of candidates eligible to take admission in NLU and the list if waiting candidates
  • The category-wise provisional selected list will be released only for candidates who have registered for the counselling process

AILET 2023 Counselling: Category-Wise Seat Matrix for BA LLB & LLM

The category-wise seat matrix for the BA LLB and LLM courses has been released by the university. There are a total of 123 seats offered for the BA LLB course along with the seat allocated for the Jammu Migrant Candidate. A total of 81 seats are available for the LLM courses. 

All the seats will be filled by the candidate in the two rounds of counselling. If their seat goes vacant after round 2 then authorities will be conducting subsequent rounds of counselling to fill the seats. 

 The NLU authorities have given 22% of the seat reservation to the OBC Non-creamy layer candidate and 10% reservation for the EWS candidate. Apart from that 1.5% and 7.5% of seat reservation is given to the SC and ST candidates respectively.
