The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) recently issued a set of instructions for candidates who are preparing to attend the AIIMS PG Counselling 2020
AIIMS has announced to all candidates that the open round of AIIMS PG 2020 counselling will be conducted in online mode, taking into consideration the dangers of offline counselling. The institute took into consideration the ongoing coronavirus pandemic while making this decision.

The institute also informed the candidates that the next round of counselling will be akin to the rounds that have been conducted so far.
AIIMS will be publishing the finalized seat matrix and will publish it on its official website by August 14.
Tabulated below are some important dates that candidates should note.
- Candidates who have obtained a minimum percentile of 50 in the qualifying exam can register for the counselling.
- Original documents and certificates are to be produced to the institute at any of its listed institutions across the country.
- Candidates who do not have the original certificates will be required to make a deposit worth INR 3 Lakh via Demand Draft prior by 17th August.
- The candidates who are eligible will be required to submit their choice of AIIMS branch where they wish to pursue their course.
- The allotment of seats will be declared on the website on 19th August. The selected candidates can report to the institute upon confirmation.
