NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round: Eligibility Criteria

There are some specific eligibility criteria as prescribed by the concerned authority. Here are the detailed criteria according to the official notification:

  • Candidates must be Indian citizen
  • Candidates without any seat in All India NEET PG 2021 Counselling round
  • Only Priority III/ IV/ V candidates (as referred in the notification) can apply. They need to register in the MCC website for the Mop up round
  • Sponsored candidates’ age limit is as set by the Government of India guidelines
  • Civilian candidates must be of 30 years old
  • Candidates must have MBBS degree registered with the State Medical Council
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 35th% in NEET PG 2021

NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round: Counselling Process

The Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, shall conduct the process. Candidates need to follow the below mentioned guidelines:

  • Civilian candidates will have to undergo medical examination by a duly constituted medical board to confirm their fitness status
  • Candidates need to bring certain documents during the counselling round. Those are
    • 6 Passport size photographs
    • NEET PG 2021 Admit Card Copy
    • NEET PG 2021 Score Card
    • SSLC/ICSE Certificate
    • Nationality Certificate
    • Final year of MBBS Mark Sheets
    • MBBS Degree Certificate
    • Internship Completion Certificate
    • Permanent/ Provisional State Medical Council Registration Certificate
    • Migration Certificate
    • Allotment Letter

Candidates should prepare the documents beforehand and start reaching the venue within the prescribed time to avoid any rush.
