New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently announced that MBBS seats have been added to the seat matrix for Round 2 of NEET UG counselling 2.

These 22 additional MBBS seats are for the Chandulal Chandrakar Medical College in Durg, which the MCC had previously removed from the seat matrix because the NMC had revoked its recognition. But now that the NMC has given the medical college authorization, the MCC has added the seats.

The Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Government Medical College, Durg has provided information to the MCC regarding new seats that could not be contributed by the colleges prior to the beginning of Round 2 of Undergraduate Counseling 2022 because LoPs from NMC were received on November 9, 2022.

In order to better serve candidates, the responsible authority has decided to include the following M.B.B.S seats in the seat matrix of Round 2 of UG Counseling 2022. 

The newly donated seats are added to the seat matrix in the manner tabulated below: -

After the revocation of recognition, the MCC had earlier withdrawn these 22 MBBS seats from the NEET counselling.

However, later the National Medical Commission (NMC) gave its permission for 150 MBBS seats at Chandulal Chandrakar Medical College, Durg.
