In today’s increasingly complex and fragmented world, technological developments are leading towards new organizational structures. Powerful, yet intricate networks of communication are emerging. Communication will become even more central, happening everywhere, all the time, and demanding a new type of expert to manage and understand it. This course will give the students the tools they will need to do it:

  • Through critical and strategic thinking, students will be able to design practical solutions and to organize, plan and set them in motion;
  • They will understand how to analyze present-day problems while keeping an eye on the future, retaining the global picture while working at the local level;
  • They will be a pioneer, no longer content with simple, handbook solutions, but understanding a complex and nuanced range of communications issues;
  • They will be able to see the implications of technological and societal developments and to transcend boundaries in the ever-changing media landscape.
