The Information and Communication Technology programme from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e)?educates you in the design of systems that can process, store and convey information in every sense of the word. This programme includes describing and simulating circuit parts and designing and constructing system parts and components. In addition, the interaction between hard- and software is fully addressed.
Application of new Information and Communication technologies is seen as one major factor to improve efficiency of complex systems while maintaining a high quality. High-tech companies need professionals who can design and develop complex new products and processes and offer innovative solutions. Professionals who can fill the gap between market demand and technical possibilities.?
It is our mission to deliver these ?Technological Designers? to industry, especially industry that focuses on three important societal themes:
- Care and Cure
- The Connected World
- Smart and Sustainable Society
In-depth understanding of the needs and wishes of users has first priority. A designer makes choices, searches for alternatives and makes decisions, where not only logic and expertise but also creativity, intuition and good taste are very important.
