Academic Eligibility:

• a Bachelor’s degree in an academic degree related to your chosen specialization.
• a proficient level of academic English, 
• proof of excellent study results: outstanding grade for your bachelor’s thesis (7.5 or higher), and an average of no less than 7.5 for a relevant selection of your bachelor’s program (to be decided by the Admission Board). 
• and clear motivation for doing academic research.
• To be admitted to the program, the student should have a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy or a related academic degree.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

• VU Amsterdam requires all applicants to take an English test. Exceptions are made for students who have completed a bachelor's or master's in Canada, the USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, or Australia.
• TOEFL and IELTS tests must have been completed no more than two years before 1^st September of the year in which your course starts.

International students hailing from non-English speaking countries also need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
