• The focus of this master’s degree program lies at the interface between pure and applied scientific research, with a strong emphasis upon the interaction between insight, innovation and development on the one hand and practical applications on the other.
  • The first year of the Master’s program includes topics such as Health Data Science, Data Drive Decision Making and Healthcare Management and introduces students to at least two departments of the Academic Medical Centre through Internships.
  • The second year of the Master's in Medical Informatics allows students to choose from a wide range of elective courses such as Health Economics, Human-Centered Multimedia, Internet programming, Advanced Medical Image Processing, eHealth and Machine Learning and other Artificial Intelligence courses. This gives them the opportunity to tailor the program precisely to their own personal preferences and skills.
