The study program of Master's track International Trade and Investment Law is devoted to the study of the two branches of International Economic Law: International Trade Law and International Investment Law. The first semester focuses on learning to operate within the core principles and institutions of these disciplines.
Students begin by studying the principles and foundations of public international law and of international economic law (12 EC). UVA proceed with compulsory courses covering the cardinal rules in two key areas of international economic law: international trade law (6 EC) and international investment law (6 EC).
In the second semester, students develop their competences by specializing in either trade law or investment law (24 EC).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized research university;
Students should have at least 3.0-grade points.
Submission of GMAT / GRE scores report.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Graduates of Indian central, state, or leading deemed and private universities.
Applicants must have achieved a minimum cumulative 1st division or better across all years of their studies.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, tests required to study in Netherlands, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
