• The two-year Research Master's programme Philosophy familiarises students with one or more sub-areas of philosophy. They can choose to specialise in philosophical tradition in context, critical cultural theory, philosophy and public affairs, and logic and language.
  • Core courses and electives are offered in the form of seminars, which are attended by 10 to 25 international and Dutch students. Tutorials are given in small groups, which are supervised by specialists and usually initiated by staff members. Students are also at liberty to organise a tutorial, granted they are able to find a suitable supervisor.
  • The Research Master's programme Philosophy comprises 120 ECTS credits:
    • 90 credits for core courses, electives and tutorials
    • 30 credits for a Research Master's thesis (including 12 credits for a research seminar)
