The Chinese University of Hong Kong MA in English (Literary Studies)
This programme is intended for those who have had some exposure to the study of literature written in English and who have a strong interest to attain deeper understanding of the English language and of the intellectual and artistic traditions of English-speaking cultures.
Objectives and Expected Learning Outcomes
The MA degree in English Literary Studies will deepen students? understanding of the various genres of literature as well as enhance their critical thinking skills; it will also develop their understanding of the range of structures and ideas found in the finest English-language writing.
