Chinese University of Hongkong (CUHK) is the largest and only Hong Kong institution with 14 Rhodes Scholars in 9 colleges from the unique collegiate system. Around 20,000 students enrol in the university every year out of which 6,000 are international students from nearly 50 countries seeking to study in Hong Kong. The academic year for 2023 will start in early September. Indian applicants looking forward to studying at the Chinese University of Hong Kong need a previous degree of class 10 and 12 in a state or national board with an average of 80%. Applications are accepted via the university online portal separately for UG and PG along with paying an application fee of 450 HKD and 300 HKD respectively. The Chinese University of Hong Kong International Students Admissions
The Chinese University of Hong Kong offers admission to international students in both UG and PG programs offered by the Faculty of Arts, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Medicine, Law, Science, and Social Science. Candidates need to fulfil the academic, scores of the tests to study in Hong Kong and other course-specific requirements. Visa Process for International Students
On receipt of the acceptance letter from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the students can apply for the Hong Kong student visa at the earliest by contacting the Global Affairs Office (GAO). The application form from the GAO is sent to the Immigration Department for processing. The completed application form with the required supporting documents can be uploaded after paying the visa application fee. Students need to attend the visa interview on the scheduled dates with the supporting documents. The usual processing time of a Hong Kong student visa is 6-8 weeks.
Following forms are required for visa application:
- Form ID 995A, filled by the applicant
- Form ID 995B, filled by the sponsor

- A photocopy of the admission offer letter by the University.

Bachelors degree programs are offered in the majors of Arts, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Science, and Social Science. International students need to have exceptional achievements and should be at least 25 years of age to take admissions in any of the courses.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Graduate Admissions
The Graduate School offers over 220 programs through 55 graduate divisions leading to higher degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and certificates. Applicants can apply via the graduate application portal of the university for most of the courses after paying an application. However, for MBA admissions the university has a separate application portal.
