Technical cybernetics is an interdisciplinary science. It is located between engineering and applied mathematics and deals with the description, analysis, and control of dynamic processes. Cybernetic methods enable, for example, the automatic navigation of ships, have complex processes in cell organisms described or help to optimize logistical processes such as timetables or energy networks.
