• Music permeates all areas of life and we meet in all media. It influences emotions, holds social groups together, is an important part of the history of individuals and societies. The musicology course is correspondingly diverse.
  • The range of courses includes events from historical musicology, systematic musicology (music psychology, sociology, acoustics) as well as music and media technology. Optionally, instrumental lessons can be taken in a subject relevant to musicological work.
  • A professionally equipped recording studio, numerous analog and digital instruments and devices as well as an extensive media library are available for student work. Musical ensembles, bands, choirs, and orchestras in the field also offer a wide range of practical activities.
