Biology as a science from living nature has developed from an observing and descriptive science to an experimentally oriented discipline. The Osnabrück biology is divided into the fields of bio didactics, biophysics, biochemistry, botany, genetics, microbiology, neurobiology, ecology, plant physiology, animal physiology, behavioral biology, and zoology.
The subject of biology is offered as a major, core and minor subject within the two-subject bachelor's program and must be combined with another subject.
