• The advanced materials doctoral program provides in-depth technical knowledge and methodological skills in the field of "new materials". In the interdisciplinary doctoral program, 24 semester hours per week must be taken from the range of lectures and seminars. 
  • This also gives the students an insight into current research topics in related subjects. The practical work on the dissertation begins regardless of the courses to be attended at the beginning of the first semester.
  • The doctoral program represents an alternative form of doctorate. It leaves the other doctoral options unaffected and is carried out within the framework of the doctoral regulations of the University of Osnabrück for the physics and biology / chemistry departments in the currently valid version.
