• Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig is a 2-year (4 Semester) program.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The program is taught in English and German Language.
  • The program starts in the winter semester and summer semester.
  • Within the Complementary Qualification at the beginning of the Master's program, all admitted students acquire the core competencies from Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Chemistry, in order to ensure that graduates of the different Bachelor's programs receive the necessary knowledge for the Specialisation.
  • The following fundamentals are taught in the first semesters:
    • Regenerative Energy Engineering
    • Life Cycle Assessment for Sustainable Engineering
    • Sustainability in Production and Logistics
    • Energy Law I
  • In the Elective Modules, students can choose modules from a list from the fields of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry with reference to sustainability and energy technology.
  • This allows students to pursue their own interests and encourages them to critically examine the content of their own education.
