    TS LAWCET Syllabus 2023: Important Topics, Preparation Tips, and Books

    TS LAWCET Syllabus is announced by TSCHE for 3 Year and 5 Year Integrated LLB program. The Level of exam for the three-year course and the five-year course is of degree and intermediate level respectively. TS LAWCET 2023 will be tentatively conducted in August 2023 through online mode.

    • TS LAWCET Exam Pattern consists of 3 sections: General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law.

    Part C of the paper is made up of 60 questions based on Legal Aptitude. As per the instructions given by the organizers of the exam, questions from basic laws and the Constitution of the country will be given in this section and they will be of elementary level.

    Things to Remember:

    • TS LAWCET Date will tentatively be conducted in August 2023.
    • Take your admit card and passport size photograph at the examination center. Download TS LAWCET Admit Card
    • Duration of Exam – 1 hour 30 minutes
    • Report at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
    • Qualifying marks in TS LAWCET are 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of total 120 marks). No minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST for ranking.

    Ans. Exam Pattern for both the TS LAWCET programs is the same. There are slight differences between the syllabus. For 3 Year LLB program level of questions is that og undergraduate and for 5 year program level of questions is that of intermediate level.

    Ques. What newspapers should I refer to prepare for TS LAWCET 2023?

    Ans. National daily like The Hindu or The Indian Express are beneficial for a holistic preparation as recommended by Law preparation experts and toppers. Apart from this Pratiyogita Darpan magazine is also recommended.

    Ans. TSCHE releases an official brochure that contains exam patterns and syllabus details. It is released with the application form on the official website. 

    Ques. Should I expect any change in TS LAWCET Syllabus?

    Ans. As per now no change is announced by the exam conducting body Osmania University in terms of Syllabus.Any other change in the exam pattern or syllabus will be notified after the official notification for TS LAWCET 2023 is released.
