    MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Exam Pattern, Important Topics, Marking Scheme, Syllabus

    MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Exam Pattern consists of three sections, i.e. Mental Ability, General Knowledge, and Teacher Aptitude. MAH B.Ed CET entrance exam is an online computer-based examination and will be conducted in either English or Marathi Language.     • Candidates have to apply for MAH B.Ed CET ELCT at the time of filling the MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Application Form, in case they want to take admission in English medium colleges.
    • Candidates are asked a total of 100 multiple-choice questions as part of MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Syllabus. Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking. 
    • MAH BEd CET ELCT will only be conducted in the English language as a requirement. MAH BEd CET ELCT will be conducted for 1 hour with a total of 50 marks with no negative marking. 
    • MAH BEd CET ELCT 2023 Exam will have 7 sections, which consists of Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary Focus, Grammar Focus, Sentence Formation, Phonetics, Verbal Idioms and Proverbs and Figures of Speech.

    MAH BEd ELCT is an online computer-based test. Candidates need to be aware of the subjects and sections involved in the examination and what each section is designed to test in the candidates. This will help candidates to tackle each section with the right approach at the time of preparation. This 1-hour exam is designed to test the candidates in the various aspects surrounding the English Language. These include comprehension skills, grammar and vocabulary knowledge, sentence formation, knowledge of idioms and proverbs amongst other things.

    As already seen, the ELCT is a 1-hour examination comprising of seven sections.

    The 7 constituent sections are

    MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Exam Guidelines

    1. MAH B.Ed CET and the ELCT are both online computer-based tests.
    2. Aspirants can view the questions along with 4 choices, out of which only 1 is correct. Candidates must click on their most appropriate answer using the mouse.
    3. To the right of the screen, the status of the question can be seen as one of the following.
    • You have not visited the question yet
    • You have not answered the question yet
    • You have answered the question
    • You have not answered the question, but marked the question for review
    • You have answered the question, but marked it for review
    1. The question number can be clicked to go to the question bearing that number. Candidates can then select their response, followed by choosing either ‘Save and Next’ or ‘Mark for Review and Next’.
    2. ‘Mark for Review’ notifies candidates that they have chosen to come back and review the question at a later time.
    3.  In case the response needs to be changed, candidates can deselect their first response by clicking on the ‘Clear Response’ button. They can then choose the new response and use one of the above options (Save and next or Mark for review and next) to save their answer and move on to the next question.
    4. ‘Mark for Review’ just acts as a reminder. If an answer is already chosen and candidates do not come back to the question marked for review before the time is over, the answer initially chosen will be considered as final.
    5. Clicking on the ‘Save and Next’ button for the last question of a section directs candidates to the first question of the next section. Candidates can alternate between sections and questions within the examination duration.
    6. Candidates can view the time left on the top right corner of the screen. Once the time is up, the test is automatically submitted. Candidates cannot ‘Finally Submit’ the test before the allotted time is over.
    7. Candidates are strictly advised against using keyboards in front of their systems during the entire duration of MAH BEd CET 2023.
